Zum ersten Mal habe ich Beirut im April beim Futureshorts Filmfestival in Riga auf Andrejsala kennengelernt. Seit dem bin ich gefangen von dieser wundervollen Musik. Schaut hier das aktuelle Video zum neuen Album Flying Club Cup.

today- after having slept and relaxed a bit from the journey, we first of all made the very interesting experience of posting a parcel back home: after the contents was checked, it had to be handsewn into white linen, sealed with wax and stamped about three times, by the time it was ready it looked really special and like a souvenir to be kept ( if it arrives..) although in spite of all the apparent chaos everywhere, things seemed nevertheless to be very efficient at the main post office of Mumbai. Hier sind wir nun, in Udaipur, die Stadt an zwei wunderbaren Seen gelegen. Wir sind erst gerade gegen 17 Uhr angekommen und konnten uns schon einen kleinen Uebeblick ueber die Stadt verschaffen…wie unterschiedlich die Staedte hier doch sind…obwohl wir noch in Rajasthan sind. Dennoch ist irgendetwas anders hier, die Stimmung, die Menschen?!? Unsere Reise heute fuehrte uns durch die Berge, wo unser Fahrer auf seiner letzten Tour sogar einen Jaguar gesehen hat. (more…)
Hier sind wir nun, in der so oft ertraeumten blauen Stadt. Und es ist wirklich wunderschoen. Obwohl auch diese Stadt nicht gefeit ist vor dem fiesen, lauten, stinckenden Verkehr, der sich selbst durch die kleinste Gasse schiebt. Einfach zu viel !!!
Unser Hotel liegt inmitten der alten historischen Stadtmauer und hat eine wunderbare Aussicht ueber die ganze Stadt. (more…)
Today we have been on an incredible sightseeing tour of Delhi, starting at the Red Fort and the largest mosque of India in the old town of Delhi (where we were taken through by a real rickshaw- a very strange and odd experience, but strangely enough one somehow felt safe and ok all the time..), afterwards we went to the memorial site of Mahatma Ghandi which is also set in a large garden or park area ( with very pleasant and fresh air..), then we saw a really lovely Hindhu temple called the Lotus temple of which the design reminds of the Sydney Opera House.
